Terms — End User License Agreement

By installing or using the Software you agree to this agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software and use the refund policy in section 8.

1. What you are buying

The Software is licensed, not sold. You pay once and may use the version you bought forever — there is no subscription and no recurring fee.

2. What you may do

• Install and use the Software on up to 2 computers that you own or control at the same time (for example, a desktop and a laptop), using the license key issued to you.
• Use the Software for personal and commercial video work, including videos you are paid to make. The captions you create are yours.
• Make one backup copy of the installer for your own use.

3. What you may not do

• Share, sell, rent, give away or publish your license key, or install the Software for anyone else.
• Redistribute the Software or include it in another product.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, except where the law in your country explicitly gives you that right.
• Remove or alter license, activation or copyright notices, or attempt to bypass the activation system.

4. Activation

The Software activates online against the store that sold it and stores a license record on your computer. It re-checks from time to time; if no connection is available it keeps working for a grace period of 7 days after the last successful check. Activation collects only the license key and a device identifier, as described in our privacy policy.

5. Updates

Your purchase includes all 1.x updates (for example 1.1, 1.2) at no extra charge. A future major version (2.0) may be offered separately; your 1.x version will keep working regardless.

6. Requirements and third-party software

The Software works with Adobe Premiere Pro 2021 or newer on Windows 10/11 (64-bit) and macOS 12 or newer. It is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Adobe Inc. “Premiere Pro” is a trademark of Adobe Inc. The Software contains open-source components (including faster-whisper and the Whisper model) used under their respective licenses.

7. Warranty — “as is”

The Software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Speech recognition is automatic and imperfect: always review your captions before publishing. To the maximum extent allowed by law, the seller's total liability for any claim connected with the Software is limited to the amount you paid for the Software.

8. Refunds

Refunds are handled under our refund policy: a 14-day money-back guarantee — if the Software does not work on your system and support cannot fix it, email support within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. After a refund, your license key is deactivated and you must uninstall the Software.

9. Ending this license

This license ends automatically if you break section 3. On ending, you must uninstall the Software and stop using the license key. Sections 7 and 8 survive.

10. Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the seller is based. If a court finds any part of this agreement unenforceable, the rest still applies.
